e30 sparki needed :(

im still trying to sort out the running probs with my e30 but i think im getting closer lol
right i have been checking all the wireing today and have come across a new prob
the crank senser has 3 wires going to the ecu 1 black 1 silver and 1 yellow now for some reason the yellow wire has been cut and joined to the wrong wire in the ecu (another yellow wire)if u look in the pic the wire to the right of my finger is the original yellow wire the one to the left has been cut and that red wire now goes to the crank senser where the right one should go....
if i put the wires back to how they should be the car wont run. any ideas????
