E30 Zone

Im trying to start up my 325 but its just cranking but not starting.

Its got fuel, new battery recently and not been started in 3 years.

When i put the ignition on, it buzzes from engine compartment from icv but no buzz or noise from under the back seat.
When cranking, seems like no fuel going to engine, tried new relays too, and ideas guys? cheers!

Hi ya fella had the same thing on my 325i and it turned out to be the pump...

have you checked to see if theres power down to it ???

to be honest it could be a number of things...

is there power to the relay ??
power coming out of the relay ??

power down to the pump ??

Pull out the fuel pump relay, and link together pins 30 and 87 of its base. This should make the fuel pump run continuously, which you should be easily able to hear without the engine running.
If it doesn't run, check fuse 11, but even if this is blown, the fuel pump is likely to be the problem.
If it does run, check for sparks at the plugs, when you crank the engine.
