Oil Leak

just noticed some smoke coming off the exhaust from the downpipe. The tray looks damp under the car. Is this likely to be the sump gasket?

What engine is it.?.Also is it when the engine warms up that the leak starts.

325 engine, yes seams to be when warm.

Could be any one of the dozen or so common places an M20 leaks oil from, or it may even be hydraulic fluid.
You need to clean things up and get some idea of where the leak is.

Yes as above clean up were the leak mite coming from best thing to do is start your car let it warm up switch it off jack it up and get under neat it and just have a look around.

i seem to have a similar thing but only when its warming up once warm it seems to go??
