what oil is best

not realy a tech question but what oil would you people recomend for my 89 325i
e30s arent that fussy with oil, semi synthetic is better althouh i read that brianmooores touring has done 200,000 miles on non synthetic oil
i recently purchased 5l of 10w-40 from wicks bargin bin for £1.46 Bargin
and will be putting that in mine, oil has came on a long way since these engines have been built
