Front hub nut torque setting?

Hey i've got two new bearings here, about to fit them but the hub nut torque setting isn't in the torque settings guide linked in this section.

I gave my E30 haynes away with my old E30 foolishly so don't have one :(

Help is really appreciated!

It's fookin tight. Probably tighter than you're torque wrench will register. I'll go and check the setting anyway......

290 nm on autodata . fooking tight as said

thats wots on autodata , dont know wot bmws own data is . mine did up to 290nm with no worries

290 Nm is correct, which is 214 lb ft in units that actually mean something.
Use a three foot bar, and apply a pull of 214/3= 71.3 pounds to it.

Excellent, i read that in a post i found using search but was slightly doubtful.

My big wrench goes to 300 i think so it's all good! Going to have to jump up and down on the torque wrench :x

I used a big ass spanner, then 4ft of steel box length, and then a 20 stone 6'8" man (not me unfortunately), so that should have got it to 290Nm lol
