i have a 1984 320 and as soon as i turn on the ignition and turn the motor over it floods i have taken the plugs out and when the motor is turned over fuel floods out of all cyl if i remove the relay by the coil it stops flooding put the plugs back in and it goes for a few seconds plug in the relay and it will rev ok but as soon as the revs drop it floods and stalls . any ideas where i shoold start looking is it likely to just be the relay the car has been stood for 2 years i am told it ran fine when parked up but has had this fault since it came out of hibernation.
thanks again Paul

I changed the fuel pump relay today with a brand new one and with the plugs out and engine cranking over petrol floods out of each plug hole can anyone tell me if there is another relay that might be causing this or will it be stuck injectors or maybe the ecu . If i start it up without the relay in it will fire and run for a second then i can plug in relay with it running and it will run but only at above 2000 revs if it drops it floods and stalls any help would be apreciated
thanks Paul
