Looks like my sports seat backrest has busted, got a constant badboy lean position and wont lift upright and stay on ratchet.. strange thing is when i attempt to lift into upright position the bolster flexes like the base is broken... i have circled a generic picture below to show where..

Question is, has anyone had this problem before? is it an easy fix? do i need a donor or can i weld it up?

right.. ill take it down me mates garage tomorrow and give it a strip down and investigate.. cheers for that mate. sounds like this is gonna be a pain in the ass to repair
