Aligning front lights for MOT

I need to get my HID front lights aligned as i had them off the car.
How high should the beam of the lights be?
I have not found much via the 'zone search'
I was thinking of parking the car facing a flat wall and getting them to match but should the lights be set to a certain level from the ground?

have you got a friendly mot garage nearby?
personally, i'd make sure the adjusters werent siezed, park infront of a flat surface like a garage door and get them level with each other at a guestimated height just so you're not going to dazzle or annoy people in the meantime.
will take about 5mins each side to do it with the proper equipment as long as theyre not siezed!
have you had the lights themselves off the mount, or did you just undo the 3 screws and take the complete pair of lights out? if it was the latter, and you didnt mess with the adjusters then they should still be pretty close anyway.
