E30 Zone

Just got the Car motd,the Check light keeps coming on and the red light for the Brake lights come on as well,nothing wrong with the Bulbs and it does not do it all the time,any ideas please

clean the contacts on the bulb and the holder

I had this problem before turn out that i was getting a intermittent brake light due to some slight corrosion on the contacts for the bulb, gave the contacts in the bulb holder a clean with a screw driver and it sorted the problem.

If that doesn't cure it, change the brake light switch and/or adjust the brake pullrod that goes across the car from the pedals to the servo.
