Does anyone know where the drain holes are in the hood compartment for a convertible.

Checked over the weekend and there is quite a lot of water there - so Im assuming the holes are blocked?

Thanks

They are right at the bottom on each side, poke around with a metal wire or something similar and that should do the job. There is a pic on here somewhere, i shall have a look :)

Cheers Imy - Will give it a go tonight after work

Will a coat hanger do the trick or does it need to be thinner?

Coat hanger should be fine as long as it's not too thick :)

The water should drain out from under the sill near the doors. Also make sure these are not blocked as well.

Neither could I, I even used a torch but still very difficult to see. I just got the wire and poked it everywhere inside and it did the job :)

Pour some water in after to check to see if they have unblocked

If they get blocked do they overflow and you end up with water in your rear passenger footwells?

yes ...and also remember to check the exits in the sills just in front of the rear wheels....they can get blocked too
