i've been offered kumo and/or falken tires, which ones are better or would something else be better , without saying toyo or pirelli's

Falken's are fine, But if you look at some tyre places you will find goodyear and michellin rubber is not that much more and are a lot safer/friendly.

falkens are a decent tyre would go for them

the bloke in the TYRE place said kumo are better???
i've just got falkens on the rear, i'm happy with them just want to get the best TYRE for that price

if used falkens before and they were pretty decent, ive never heard of kumo mentioned much before

I have Admirals which are made by Kumo, very good for the money imo.

I've got Falkens all round ( 205/55/15's ) Rears are new and very grippy - fronts understeer a bit in the wet but are down to about 4mm so probably to be expected. Good budget tyres IMO

a friends dad had an e28 m535i with kumho ecsta's
he said they were fantastic- i didnt think of them as a good tyre untill he told me that

I've posted once or twice now over the last year or so here citing Kumho Ecsta's as a decent premium tyre on my touring. Falkens may offer a little more grip but they will wear faster.
