hi im Jeff and im new to this forum
I own a 325i sport which is hard to start. At times it starts first go but times i have to turn it over and over and if it doesnt go first time when cold it needs to be pushed to start it. its easer to start when warm but still has to be turned over alot.I thought it had a lazy starter but got it reconed and it didnt help the starting problems. When it doesnt start there is a strong smell of fuel so i replaced the spark plugs. Has anyone any ideas??

welcome to the zone mate... my gues would be the blue temp sensor found on the thermostast housing... have you changed that?

It will start if you just disconnect it but will then run very rich from then on. It could be a number of things , anything on the spark side, plugs rotor arm, cap, leads or it could be the injectors needing a good clean.
