People have put larger injectors in but it works well only with revised engine management to tune it all.

For example a normally aspirated 325i with standalone ECU running 30lb injectors from (I think an M30 engine). Same vehicle also ran a turbo with the same injectors. The flow rate was adjusted to suit.

Another example is oakey's car: I think is a 2.7 with spikier camshaft and 30lb injectors tuned on Megasquirt.

What were you thinking of doing to yours? Maybe someone has already done something similar?

people tend to use ones from M50 (approx 17lb/hr) or M30 (approx 19lb/hr) but there isn't much point unless you have exceeded the capacity of the stock ones (14.5lb/hr) which is probably around the 200bhp mark or so.

yh my 325 is a 2.7 so i definitley will get a megasquirt, i'm getting a walbro fuel pump soon too so i thought it would be better to get bigger injectors
