its a good idea to make sure you can open the filler plug on these before draining the oil out

They need a 10mm allen key, the socket type is best that you use with a ratchet.

Un-do the top one first, you would be slightly pissed off if you drained all the old oil out then couldnt get the filler plug out

It has happened before i bet.

If you dont have one then a good ballance of price and quality is the Halfords Professional range, they have a lifetime warrantee so if you break it you just take it back and they give you a new one no questions asked... I'm on my 4th 36'' breaker bar 8)

a good soaking with WD40 or similar thenight before, as mentioned dont use a right angle allen key use a proper sized allen socket as fitted to a decent wratchet bar, then before you attempt to shift it fit the allen socket in the filling plug (without the wratchet) and a good few hits with a hammer will ensure the allen socket is well in the plug and the shock will help loosen the corrosion.
