sometimes the bitting point on my 325i sport is right on the floor and then other times its normal. I had an e36 m3 that done this also is it something to do with a pipe to the clutch or something??

Is it worse if you hold your foot on the clutch? ie,stop starting in traffic.

more likely something to do with a knackered slave and/or master cylinder, hence why it works on occaison, i will wager it works fine in the morning and progressively gets worse?? if so as i suggest, if not let us know
