wet footwell

my 325i (not convertible) seems to have sprung a water leak in the footwell. both sides, The car has been stood still for 6 months. first I thought it may have been heater matrix, but its not wet on the sides, just were your feet would sit, the coolant has not gone down either. any ideas, the seats are not wet either

There's a drainage pipe on the bulkhead in the engine bay(called elephant trunk) that gets blocked and can cause leaks into the car, but the main one from what I understand is the heater valve/pipes o-ring. Not hard to check, just take the cover off by the passenger side feet(n/s) and a quick look will tell you for sure if thats it.

I've got this problem as well. What would you recommend would be needed to unclog it, wire wool?

check where the wiring loom goes through the bulkhead , rubber seals dry up and leak .

I've not done it on an e30 before but I believe most cars are the same. In the past I've just used a screwdriver to push the dead leaves etc through and then a hose to make sure its clear

I've got this problem as well. What would you recommend would be needed to unclog it, wire wool?
Pulls off easy as anything, run it through with warm water the slip it back on. Took a good 5 minutes of washing shite out of mine to thoroughly clear it out.

My tip would be to rinse it through with hot water (whilst poking something blunt down it) and then put it into a pint glass filled with the same. This will soften the rubber slightly and make it easy to re - fit.
