OBC Backlight

The backlight for the OBC LCD display doesn't light up. I've checked the continuity of the bulb carrier and I still have a circuit - assume bulbs and resistor are ok.

I reckon there's a loose connection, since it's been temperamental recently. Anybody know where the power for the LCD backlight comes from? Which part of the wiring loom, I've removed and installed the OBC once already. Its only the LCD backlight as the backlight on the buttons is fine.

Be grateful for any help as I'm fed up with the dashboard being in pieces while I wait to fix it! Thanks :?

Change the back light strip first(with one you know work's) and if this still won't work then you need to open the unit up as if you have power to the buttons then the power should be at the light strip.

Sounds like the pins on the light strip may be dodgy or something because I'm getting a circuit on it with about 15ohms resistance which is about right be a couple of bulbs.

Will be back for help if I can't solve it. :? Thanks

Not exactly true. Both lights are fed from the yellow socket on the instrument cluster, but from seperate sources.
The button light is fed from the grey/red on pin 20, but the backlight is fed (I think) from the grey/purple on pin 13, via a bit of electronics inside the OBC.
