I've thought about 13's before and i remember someone telling me they tried, but they wouldn't fit over the brakes!!
I see you're line of thinking though!!!!!

Why would you want to 13" wheels?

Nice idea, but sadly BMW fitted 14" minimum for a reason
I wonder how much work it'd be to get small enough brakes on there! Must be some aftermarket stuff that works well but fits under a 13" rim - plenty of the VW boys still run them...

True - you can get disc brake setups for mini's (old skool) that allow 10" wheels!! Pretty sure they're 4x100 too!!!!
E30 could go proper low on little rims like that!!

if you could get them to fit, I reckon some 13" ATS Classics on a chromie slammed into the weeds would make me do a really thick pish

Nice wide dished 14"s then? I'm not keen on classics on an E30 Lee, but something old skool like that'd work!
Fair play on going low, but you do realise there'll be issues?! Like loads of neg camber on the back, no suspension travel on the front and no clearance on the sump? Looking forward to seeing the pics though!!
