Hi All,
How easy is it to connect up an ignition switch and a start button? I will cof course remove the ignition barrel. I suppose that I will not need to use the key again?
Thanks.

No. Get a multi meter or power probe, and check which wires are going live at the different key position's.
Will be a good learning curve for you.

I've done it, and it took me a couple of hours, the longest part was the placement of the switches.
I've got 2 switches, one for accessory, one for ignition, and a button for the starter. i found a good diagram somewhere on teh web, try searching google images.
