Hi all beemer lovers. Baught a 320iSE 91 a month ago, 4 door, 52000miles manual, super clean, calypso red 2 owners. Really lovely car. Done about 740 miles this week(holiday) and used 2 tanks of fuel (370 each) is that about right, what do other 320ers get on a tank, this was mainly motorway driving 80mph(promise). :D

One more thing, the consumption gauge is a bit sticky, allthough it works.
Anyone had the same probs. Thanks.
PS Really cool E30 site.

I use to get mid to late 20s with mine on the motorway and mid teens around town and that was driving like a granny most of the time.

i did 360km on a half tank (ish) but that was a brimmed tank, and we know that the guage isnt the most acurate dial on the e30

Getting late 20's in my 320iSE with 325i throttle body.

Very good on fuel even when pushed.

370 miles to about Ԛ£45 is good consumption, esp at 80mph!

the m20 doesnt like town driving so expect about 25mpg (best i've had is 33mpg)

out of town high MPG is possible if you are nice and gentle, and plan far in advance (38mpg is my best so far)

however, I can also do 40 miles to Ԛ£10 if i'm having fun
