Are the sideskirts on a Mtec2 kit different on Cabs the same way Mtec1`s are?

I would have thought so. People are always 'altering' saloon ones to fit so I'd guess cab ones are harder to come by

£500+

Saloons ones normally go for £400-450

u can make saloon tec2 skirts fit a cabby but they need a nip and a tuck

However tec1 skirts are saloon or cab no amount of a nip and a tuck will make a tec1 skirt fit a cabby

As for costing its got to be worth more than a saloon kit cos its cab only

Bit of work fitting saloon onto a cab - I did it and fair bit of cutting, making brackets etc to secure. I would say worth a bit more to the right person at the right time, becoming hard to get a good genuine kit.

Someone will buy it regardless.

also if it's really proper is the rear valance/bumper is slightly different if it's a factory fitted kit with pre facelift rear lights

Hopefully going to view the car one day this week with a view to buying it to break so ill be checking the kit carefully then.
Would only a genuine Mtec kit have the little recesses(sp) where the Mtec sticker goes or does the copy kit also have these?
Also am I right in thinking a copy Mtec front bumper is one piece whereas the genuine is 2 piece?
Any other tell tale signs of it being genuine/fake?

That is correct. Also most replica kits are made from fibreglass
