Drill through the rubber with a hole saw (remove the drill bit from the centre if the hole saw has one) and pull off the lollipop. Whats left on the arm can be cut away with an angle grinder.

I found pushing the new ones on a problem with the arms still fitted to the car so took then off and pressed the new ones on using washing up liquid and water as a lubricant.

My method used a 3 leg puller and a hacksaw blade.

Pull it like this and cut into the rubber, it will separate eventually.

Then use the puller again to drag the inner off the arm.

Next, get the lollypop in the vice and cut through the metal ring of the bush without damaging the lollypop itself, then a hammer and chisel will have the remains of the old bush out in no time.

Now all you have to do is install the new ones, they will have an arrow on them which lines up with a dot cast onto the lollypop and are best pressed in, but as I don't have a press but do have a very large lump hammer I tapped them in being very careful to keep them level and square going in.

To put them back onto the arm the washingup liquid and water (about 50:50) is the best thing to use...

Forgot to add, the offset M3 bushes are the same price as the normal ones form BMW, cheapo's are NOT going to last so it would be rude not to fit the offset jobbies 8)

Last pair I changed I found that a judicious application of a blowlamp worked wonders winkeye this also expanded the remains left on the TCA enough for the birmingham spanner to slide it off! :D I refitted offset polybushes, which slide in very easily using a bench vice.
