Strange indicator problem

As per title, i've got a strange problem with my indicators...
It will indicate left fine, but when i try indicating right, then it ticks quikly like a bulb is out.
If i put the hazard lights on, then all lights work.
I have noticed that when i'm indicating right that the green arrow on the dash doesn't light up at all.
I've checked the fuses, and it doesn't look like any of them are out.

Remove the hazard light switch and give connections a clean and make sure the connections are all good. I had a similar problem and that fixed it.

Did you have a problem with your hazards or when using your idicators? As my hazards work fine...it's the indicators that are giving me this problem.

Mine had exactly the same symtoms and the strange thing is it was a slightly loose battery terminal that caused it. Tightened it and never had the problem again(still have the bulbs I got from Halfords incase the bulbs were shot)

I've just changed the hazard switch with a working spare and it does the same thing...the terminals on the plug that the hazard switch go into are perfectly clean...
Will have a look at the battery tomorrow now...can't see anything outside right now.
any more suggestions??

I had this exact same problem on mine a month ago. Exactly the symptoms you described.
So I bought a new indicator stalk off Spadge on the forum for a tenner posted and replaced it. Problem solved.
£6 - £10 is about right for a 2nd hand indicator stalk.
Hope that helps.

I think i have an indicator stalk somewhere. do they just unplug?
I'll have to cut the end off as i have a motorised screen head-unit and require clearance for that.

Get yourself a LH drive radio/clock/switch panel.
Indicator switch is held on by two screws that you can see when you take the steering wheel and lower shroud off, and the wiring has a plug/socket about six inches along the wire.
