Bracket Below Alternator

Removed alternator for re conditioning and found this bracket below it. Can anyone tell me where this connects to? Thanks for any help.

Right at the top of the pic over towards the right, that bolt is what holds mine in place

Looking conformation. Is this correct as shown as it does not seem to be the right place? Does it go below the alternator?
