hi all just bought a hottuning manifold jus wondering this maybe stupid but do u need a gasket type of thing that goes between the manifold and engine to stop leaks or is it just bolted on directly, the website says direct bolt on with no mod required, just wanna double check.

Yes,you will need the heatshield/gasket that should be fitted as standard.Treat yourself, buy a new pair!! You will also need a blanking plug to fit in the bottom section off this manifold where there is provision for a lambda sensor.Walkers(exhaust aftermarket makers) do them,I got mine from my local Partco shop.

Are you sure? I can imagine it failing in some way....

You can buy blanking plugs with sealing rings from the dealers 8)
