mine wont start either

hia guys hope u can help point me in right direction

car been not started for about a month was left outside at local garage waiting for an mot there is basically no spark
1 battrey is ok turns over fine
2 power at coil
3 removed dizzy cap cleaned a sprayed with wd 40 some evidence or a little arking but started ran perfect when left there
4 the garage said they think it might be a crank sensor they said there are 2 this seems unlikely to me as it was fine when i left it

ur thought avenues of investigation would be helpful

oh it is a late 85 car on a c reg

im guessing its a 325i chrome bumper car then thye have the crank sensor in the gearbox and the one next to it is a speed secor i think it could of gone but also check the flywheel still has the key in place on the in part of the flywheel as these have fallen out before

how do ii check if the sensor is gone then must confess ive not looked at it myself yet

anyone any other thoughts on what i can check i know its getting fuel plugs were soaked
