E30 Zone

just been talking to speedtouch he sells a 320 chip just wondering if n e 1 has a 320 with this chip. i no i no i should just drop a 325 engine in but for £30 thought 7bhp would be worth it he does mention it might be a good idea to use a 325 throttle body. any ideas guys

He's right. A chip is one of the best bang-per-buck tuning parts you can get, and it'll probably cut the fuel consumption as well, the M20B20 loves to drink. The throttle body will reduce the MPG, but is also a very good way to get some cheap simple power.

does a 325 throttle body fit straight onto the 320 inlet manifold? I know it has a bigger (70mm) inlet thus a different hose is needed...

it will fit straight on but it will have a step where the tb fits on and that will cause flow problems best thing to do is fit the 325 inlet manifold to if you need one i have one for £40 posted

will the manifold fit sorry dont no alot bout m20 engines still a newbie. rather than changing engine bit skint at the mo must be worth using 325 tb and inlet and getting a chip for £30 7bhp is still 7bhp
