E30 Zone

hi, does anyone have a pic of where i put the temp sensor please. also would be helpful for help on wiring through the bulkhead into the interior to connect it up, i am having trouble with these bits only. many thanks

Location of temp sensor depends on facelift/pre facelift.
Wiring to the sensor is a blue wire and a brown wire, and the loom goes through the grommet under the fusebox.

The sensor goes in the passenger side brake duct, from the top, theres a locating place for it.

Only on facelift cars

i think i found a useful pic, is this correct?.
i dont think i saw the clip when i looked earlier under car.

I've never seen that clip either! Temp sensor plug is a rectangular one, like the ones that connect to the headlamps, etc, and plugs straight into the sensor.

cheers. i got the wire through the grommet and i found where to clip the sensor in. i have the same mounting clip for sensor as in the pic too
