press the consumption button, then press the small button in the bottom right with a pen to cycle between metric/imperial.
HTH and welcome to the zone.

The fuel thingy displays three settings,French(litre/klm) American(MPG) and UK(M/G). On the UK setting you also get outside temp in Farinheit(sp!!) instead of Centigrade.

Anyone know just how accurate the miles left in tank figure is?

If it is calibrated correctly and with the correct code plug, very accurate indeed.
You should start to worry when the miles remaining gets to ----
clearly ---- means FUMES in German!

Cool, mine says 83 miles left in tank but petrol light just come on again
That combined with fluttering temp gauge and dodgy service lights is enough to convince me my si batterys are shot!
Time to replace I think

I heard that you could adjust how much it thought was left in the tank. Alas I am a scummer with a clock and can't go out and try it and I can't remember what happened on my old 325.
I'd say they are pretty inaccurate going on ekos example. 80 miles from 6 litres from a 2.5!

Thats dreamland territory.
