Bumper swap!

Can later bumpers be put onto a pre-facelift car? easily, or not at all?

I have heard that going the other way requires some welding at the rear, so I would have assumed that moving to facelift bumpers would require some modification.... something to do with the rear arches...
just filling the gap before someone much more experienced comes along (I believe there are two lads who converted facelift tourings to use pre facelift bumpers and a tech 1 kit
)

Facelift bumpers will go on a chromie, you will need the bumper dampers front and rear. Front bumper is easy to do, back bit more fiddly.

so the front just bolts on no prpblem? whats the fiddly part on the rear?
