I'm retrofitting cruise control and I can't see how to fit the clutch switch... Everything else is in except for the clutch switch. The kit came from a LHD American car and is being fitted to an is. Is there a special switch for the is? I cant see where to mount the L shaped bracket and the switch seems too deep (ie it is longer than the distance between the plate with the hole in it to the bulkhead so it wont fit.

Alright I apologise I can't get the pictures working. I'm technologically ignorant, however, if youcopy and paste the above addresses into your browser you should be able to see the pics.

I have simply cable tied the switch with two cable ties to the steering column and the switch is activated when you move the pedal (if you listen really carefully you can hear it click on and off)

Had mine mounted like this for 3-4 years and only occasionally have a problem. It is also totally safe as if the switch moves it just deactivates the cruise control (ie the switch has to be depressed for it to work rather than released when the clutch pedal is moved.

Just managed to get your picture up.... my switch doesn't look like that it is plastic....... so that might not work.
