hey,
just replaced my door due to a bang and I am reattaching the electrical umbilical cable and have found these two connectors and don't know what they do, i have electric windows and mirrors, they are both wired up and working but my central locking isn't, I'm getting the two beeps and indicators flashing, but no locking of the door or click from the solenoid, i know the switch that detects that the door is closed is broken but I've bodged it to bypass it while i find out the cause of the central locking failure,

so what are these connectors,

and does anyone have any ideas on my central locking,

Top 2 look to be wiring for the tweeter pods(optional)

The other 2 look to be a "spare"
Heated drivers lock maybe
Or for the central locking microswitch on the lock

for central locking - chelck the module next to the speaker first - spray with WD40 -

if that makes no difference, the big black plug in the middle of the door next to the a post - carefully unplug it and see if theres any corrosion in there - if so clean it up by spraying both sides with WD40 (disconnect the battery first) then clean genlty with a soft cloth - reconnect the batery and jiggle the connection in and out and see what happens -

that how i got my entire c/l, mirrors and electric window working again!!! :D

Brilliant cheers,i can ignore them safely now and don´t have to feel guilty hahaha,

as for my central locking I´m getting the sound of a solenoid trying to fire from way down in the foot well, from behind the speaker, when i try to lock or unlock the car, can´t quite reach it, but does anyone know what this is and could it be the cause of my problems, the alarm does get set off when i try to start the car with the alarm on but the doors still don´t lock or unlock,

I´ve tries cleaning all the plugs but none of them seem too corroded,

Red and black wire modification
Basically you bridge these 2 wires down in the drivers footwell, behind the speaker

Do a search for red and black by Brian

C/L relay is down there as well BTW
