Buying advice

Been on this forum for osme time now, and im looking to buy a E30, to park next to my mk1 vw caddy.
Any advice on what to look out for, prime spots for rust etc?
Im lloooking at the 318IS, i know that i should look for rust inside the arches towards the A pillar and also check that the electrics work
What else should i look for? advice would be great help guys.. Thanks
