was going to clean the spark plugs today as dont know the condition of them when i bought the car. its a 91 316i
but dont seem to have the correct spark plug socket :cheese: what size do i need to buy please.

I am 99% sure you need the 16mm one, thats the smaller of the 2 most common size's and comes with most cheap socket sets.

Or use the one in the car if it's there, there should be one in the tool kit in the boot, will look like a metal tube with a hexagon on one end and there should also be a bar to turn it with :wink:

It is the smaller of the common size sockets I have just done my plugs on 318 (M40)
