E30 Zone

Ive recently bought an e30 and im experiencing what feels very much like boost cut on turbo cars.

Basically, driving along no matter what speed give it some throttle regardless of how much it feels like ignition cutting out, the revs drop down to idle speed untill you roll to a halt then cuts out but you can give it throttle or knock it down a gear but it wont do nothing. Then all of a sudden give it just comes back to life again, give it throttle and your on your way.

Any ideas?? it just happens randomly, engine could be cold or warm.

i had a simular problem like that on a m40b18 last year found out it was a weak spark caused by one of the nuts on the coil being loose

i really havent had a chance to look at it any of the ignition parts, but ill give everything a once over tomoro. Just thought id could be a common thing that happens
