expantion tank in boot i think???

theres a plastic tank at rear of car and mines got a hole in it people have said it collects vapour from fuel or something so im trying to find out exact name and a ruff price for 1?

should be the same part then.
Probably about £60 from BMW dealer for a new one

phone them up and give them your reg number to make sure you get the correct part.

Hardly worthwhile buying a new one. A second hand one, at a couple of pounds, will be indistinguishable from a new one!

Stick an ad in the parts wanted forum. Plenty of them around - just not usually worth advertising. I've binned plenty, and I'm sure others have as well! Anyone who's breaking a car will have one.

What's this tank do and will my 88 325i have one? I don't see one in the boot unless it's under trim?

Your car has one - and it's in the RH rear wheel arch, not the boot!
