E30 Zone

Car has been sat still for a week as I was away -

Drivers window wont work when the door is closed but does if it is open...

Any ideas of things to check guys?! Fuses or a connection i can look at to try and solve te problemo>!>?!?!?!

First thing to check is fuse 17 (30A). If this is OK, then pull out relay K5, and, with a short piece of wire, short together pins 30 and 87 of its socket - just a minute, just read post again. Does this affect the drivers door only, with the passenger OK?.
If so, then the problem is with the wiring to the door. Most probably with the plug and socket in the driver's door hinge post.
