i'm wanting to lower my e30, but i also want some 205's instead of my 195's that i have at present.
i'm pretty sure here that i will be able to do one or the other and be on the margin of rubbing on my wheel arches. has anyone done both and had any trouble??? anyone done just ONE and had trouble??
thanks for any info.

Mines dropped 60mm on 17"rims with 215 tyres and I get a little rub on full lock, I'm going to be changing the fronts for 205's.
You don't state what size rim you are running??

I had -40mm on 16" Alpinas with 225/45 16 rubber no rubs front or rear.
charlE30, fit some //M3 offset TCA bushes, they'll solve that issue mate and improve steering feel in one go, crisper turn in too, no downside

i'm still on my 195 65 14's at the moment. i don't mind too much for the minit, as they have m+s tyres but even they are not very good in the rain. if i go 215 tyres on back and 205's on the front, do i want 205 rims only?? cheers for the info.

confusion mate have a look on
www.rochfordtyres.co.uk they've got a really good wheel/tyre size calculator that might help
Ant where can I lay my hands on some of these M3 offset TCA bushes?

sounds a better choice than changing my tyres as there only 6 months old and I don't do many miles.
