Im looking at buying a Hottuning Stainless Manifold of ebay aas ive heard goog this and alot of you on here seem to have them. At the moment i have and old stainless exhaust on the car witch was on when i bought it and it crap. Im looking at gettting a new system, been looking at a scorpion system but ive hear people have had to modify there centre sections of exhaust to fit the Hottuning Manifold. If im going to buy a new system what do i go for so it will all just bolt together with no modds? A 2 system or 3 or what? Any help will be great, thanks for reading.

Hottuning manifold is designed to fit a 3 piece system. I have modified my 2 piece to fit using a saw and some exhaust sleeving. It's a bodge but it works.

Nope, fraid not. Imagine a bean can (big one) and some butch jubilee clips on a join where the exhaust crosses from right to left under the car and you're pretty much there.

You require the centre and rear sections of a three piece system. The Hottuning manifold forms the front section. The manifold comes with a bolt up/olive type join for one pipe and a sliding joint type for the other pipe. The centre section that I bought from GSF came with two bolt up/olive type joints,so Mr Anglegrinder came out to play and we sliced off the olive joint on the centre cection to create a sliding joint.Do buy your manifold through the 'trader' section on the zone because it will save you a bit of cash...you will also need two or three exhaust clamps to assemble the system, and a blanking plug for the lambda sensor hole on the manifold crossover section. Walkers supply one via Partco for about £2.Or you could use a 14mm spark plug with the insulator cut off...

A little modification required then.
