I need to change the rear brake lines on my 91 325i so i am thinking of renewing the bushes too.

so far i have the rear subframe bushes (the hard ones to take out)

what else would i need as the search facility is not bringing up the info i need.

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do ... g=33&fg=45

trailing arm links/stabilisers
anti roll bar bushes

all OEM parts best?

oem best

replace parts 2 + 5 from the link you have

and you need part 9 from my link http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do ... g=33&fg=30

the eccentric ones should be used in conjunction with m3 eccentric front wishbone bushing. if not stcik with ordinary bush part no 33329061945

would i need 4 of that part 9 rubbers? 2 for each side?

the front of my car has eccentric M3 bushes so go for the same on the rear then..

Also part 2 in the first link has 3 sizes?

You will need to know the diameter of your rear anti-roll bar.

the part 9 rubbers come in sets of 2 so you need 2 sets

part 2 in the first link deos have 3 sizes. this is dependent on the size of your arb. you'll need to measue this. it will either be 12, 13.5 or 14.5mm. whatever the size of your arb is the size of the bush you need.

just be carefull when fitting the rear eccentric bushes. they need to go in the right way or else the arse of the car wont be properly set up. you'll need to ask someone else what the proper way is!!

hope that helps

I did this on my car a little while ago. I decided to change them all but I remember reading a thread (think Brian moore said) in which it wasn't really recommended to change the trailing arm bushes no. 9 as listed above, because they don't really wear out.

Mine looked a little perished on the outer edge so I decided I was going to change them as I had everything off anyway. When I took them out though, they were perfect inside, it was just the bit visible outside that looked dodgy. So if you're doing this to a tight budget then you might be ok to leave these, if not (I don't think they're expensive anyway) and you're like me then I'd change them too, just to be rid of any potential problems later on down the road. hth

I wouldn't bother with the eccentric trailing arm bushes to be honest...
They are a nightmare to setup right.
If you really want to adjust the back of it for camber and toe, there is some bushes available with a Hex that you can twist to move the arms around although I think those ones are all polyurethane...
