Windscreen

Had a stone thrown up at the 'screen this morning,caught it about an inch in from the passenger side A post.I now have a crack running from the centre of the pax. side A post horizontal for about 3'' then curving down at about 45 degrees to the scuttle.So it enters the part or the 'screen that is swept by the pax. side wiper.Is this an instant MoT fail?

Should be, yes. Location of chips is important, but cracks are cracks.
