Stalling/Running issues

I was fixing a few brake lines on the car at the weekend, and now i'm having some running problems. The car is a 318iS.

The lines we changed were the long front to rear and one of the short ones at the rear.

The car is now very unhappy, it wont idle properly, missfires a lot when cold and seems very hesistant when driving in general, pressing the throttle down while crusing along will cause quite a lot of hesitation before it begins to pull, and its down on power.

Any ideas as to any specific items i should be checking that could cause these symptoms?

Were you in the vicinity of the fuel lines/filter? Changing brake line should not affect the running of the car, you must have disturbed something while doing them
