I've just changed the NS front control arm on my 325i, unfortunately when I was trying to take the ARB link arm off I sheared the bolt that it fixes to the wishbone with - so now it not on at all, until I get a new link arm tomorrow.
I've got to go to work in les than an hour though - about 7 miles there and then back again. Is the car safe to drive as it is, or am I likely to do any damage to it?

from reading the post it sounds as if you're just missing the arb ?
if so then I'd imagine it'll be ok.
I'm not trying to give you advice btw - just useless specultaion!!!

had a link snap on an old civic once - didnt know until the MOT. I thought it was handling badly cos of the tyres...
When it got replaced it made a huge difference.
just take it easy in the bends.

Ok guys, thanks!
I'll take it nice and steady then, and try to get a new part in the morning.

driven with no ARB drop link as-well, just have to take it easy in the corners as it will be a bit rolly-polly

Best to disconnect the other side and tie it up out the way.
