Seat Bolster fabric advice

I have a set of iS grey checked sports seats in my cabby and the drivers top bolster (door side) is knacked so i want to replace it,so the question is,is the fabric similar to other sports seats and can i interchange them with another seat fabric????

No, the fabric is particular to that pattern; other cloth sports seats use a velour yarn.

It is possible to buy original seta covers from BMW, but they are not cheap and you may have a shading mismatch given that your seats have been exposed to many years of sunlight.
Alternatively, you could buy a matching passenger seat from a breakers and use it for various parts in addition to the covers, e.g. seat cushion, runners, etc.
