E30 Zone

Hi guys

I have fitted the 13 button OBC from a 320 in to a 318is and its all working but the petrol range says I have about 100 miles left in the tank but the fuel light is on So can anyone tell me what I have forgotten to do

mine does that ! But when you run out of motion lotion it says----

I know its not the clocks as the fuel to miles is right so its defo something on the clocks and the OBC worked all ok in the 320 it came from

Did you change the code plug??

No mate sorry I didnt. didnt know I had to

There is a coding plug that is specific to each model. It's a large white plug in the back of the obc unit. You'll need to get the correct one for accurate(ish) readings.
