front fogs

will my e30 318i 1990 be already wired for front foglights? at the moment there are blanking plates where the fogs should be, also the foglight switch is a single one for the rear. :?

The wiring should all be there mate tucked up just below your headlights.Then you just need the double switch and a fuse i believe

You'll need 2 fuses(7.5 amp iirc)
Double foglight switch
Relay
and you also need the fixing screws and the plastic clips that they go into as well


Wiring should all be in place IIRC

Unfortunately it's not the same as the most common type of relay. It has to be the same as K4, with two normally open contacts and five pins. NOT to be confused with a five pin changeover type.

everything done except fixing bits and screws also struggling to find proper relay, local motor factors sold me one they said was correct and i plugged it in and nearly set car on fire . any ideas where i can get these bits from ta

Contact zimmerbimmer inn the genuine parts section(in a parts dept)
The relay is still available iirc
One from an E36 does the job,can't remember the part number tho
He may be able to supply the plastic fixings and screws as well

I can post you one if required
