Hi All
I have a cab that has an electric aeriel. I feel that when its raised, it spoils the lines of the car. Its like a giant lighning conductor.
Has anyone looked into an alternative?
The later E36 convertibles have a neater smaller one in a fixed position near the boot on the passanger side..
Thanks for any input..

I have put a small black slim one approx where it goes on e36 , about 3 inches away from taillight (from the boot you can still remove tailight holder and trim all goes back.

Problem is that anything other than a screen mount jobbie will look out of place all the time! How about a simple switch to put it down when you're listening to something other than the radio?

Thanks for the replies Lads, i'll probably start with a de-chromed one for a kick off and see how that looks.
Thanks again,
Mac

I have put a proper BMW switch, which cuts out the aerial, near the window switches.
I don't listen to the radio that often and the aerial whistles a bit at speed with the roof down.
