Im sure its been done, on a saloon at least, but I dont think its an easy job. Different size arches might make it difficult to line the kit up and I think the mountings are different. It will be do-able with enough time and patience.

I am just about to fit a tech 2 re bumper to my pre face lift all seems quite easy so far.  I have taken all the measurements and unlike the american website which is mentioned on this forum somewhere it wld appear you do not have to move the bolt holes.  When you remove the rear bumper from the doner car make sure u take the shock absorbers which are different from the metal brackets on your pre face lift.  These bolt into part of the rear chassis, when u look at the rear of the car there is a round hole which takes u into the chassis leg which is square, u can see this from under the car.  u need to remove the metal to open up this hole u than need to drill two more holes one either side of the car on the inside of the square hole u have just removed, the distance between these two holes is 81.3cm apart, than bolt the bumper shock absorber to the car. u than need to aquire the two metal and plastic brackets which hold the bumper to the side of the car, the two metal brackets part no. 41351971598 which need to be welded on from 2.2cm from the bottom of the swage line down and 13.9cm from where the bottom of the swage line meets the rear arch and than bolt onto these the plastic brackets which hold the sides of the bumper in place, part no.51128106570 and 51128106569.  now push your bumper onto the brackets than bolt the rear of the bumper onto the bumper shock absorbers using the alan keys bolts.u are lucky here that u have a cab pre face lift as if this a tin top than u wld have to modify the ends of the bumper which as far as i can see is the only thing the american web site is good for telling u how to do.
fowler is correct in saying that u will have to change the front valance for a face lift valance b4 u can start fitting the bumper, but other than this i believe that all the holes and brackets u need are there, again u will the front bumper s/absorbers from the doner car to replace the metal brackets.

It's the rear bumper that will cause you the probles. You will have to shave the sides to be shorter to do it and drill some new mounting holes..
