hi guys
had a problem wit my car the other day its done this to me before. what happens is car starts i drive it then when i park the car sometimes it does not start the engine does not turn. i called recovery out and he managed to start the car but said its the inhibiter switch on the automatic gearbox.
does anyone know where i can find this on the car..

that happens with mine sometimes if i start it in neutral but it will start in park still

nope mine just dont start at all. since it was started the other day it starts now but it will happen again. so need to find out where this switch is so i can change it. any ideas guys????

If it makes a single click when you turn the key and nothing happens in terms of starting, then it sounds like a faulty Inhibitor switch.

yeah helps mate so the switch is under the center dash???

To switch it back to manual start, switch the 2 wires under the glove box.

If it is the inhibitor then i think you need to chec the wires from the gear selector itself as detailed in that thread.
