I pulled all the air con parts out of a scrapper about 18 months ago in a hurry and wondered if anyone has any information on re-fitting, especially the wiring loom/relays.
thanks in advance

The car body part of the loom that connects to the heater assembly is fitted to most E30s, AFAIK. There is a connector in the fuse box and various other points in the fusebox where the auxiliary fan and compressor, etc. loom connects.

one peice of advice whilst its out is to renew the seals throughout the system as the originals may have dried out and cracked and theyre a whole lot easier to get to now. also check the fan isnt siezed and fit a new drier bottle and if funds allow a new condensor just to be on the safe side.
ive fitted aircon myself and most of it is self explanatory especially if its a factory setup. most holes are pre pressed in the body and only require the blanks popping out with the exception being the holes in the transmission tunnel for the three drains which will need drilling although there are dimples there to show you where they need to be.
when i did the wiring i still had it connected to the old fuse box so it was a case of out of one and into the other but if you just took them out im sure someone can find a wiring diagram to help you.
have fun

No longer self employed but still available for welding duties.
